科研项目情况:

20多年来共主持了100余项研究课题,其中国家级课题20余项(重点基金3项、863重大课题1项),省部级课题10项。近十五年年来,在洁净钢冶炼及相关技术开发与应用、炼钢过程自动化、钢的品种开发、不锈钢冶炼、特殊钢连铸、电渣冶金和大型全自动化的电渣炉设备研制、炼钢实验室热模拟设备及炉渣检测仪器开发等方面取得了一系列成果。许多成果在实际生产中得到推广应用,并取得了20亿多元的经济效益。获得国家专利20余项。获国家科技进步二等奖2项,获省部级科技进步奖10项,其中一等奖3项。因制定两项国际标准贡献突出,成为中国首位获“IEC1906”国际大奖的专家。先后人选辽宁省骨干教师、辽宁省“百千万人才工程”百人层次、辽宁省高校优秀人才等人才计划,获国务院政府特殊津贴。

(7) IEC 60779:2005 工业电热装置—电渣重熔炉的试验方法 IEC605198:2005 电热装置的安全 8部分 电渣重熔炉,2007年获国家质量监督检验检疫总局、国家标准化管理委员会“中国标准创新贡献奖”二等奖,排名第一;

(8) 抚钢2#生产线洁净钢生产工艺技术攻关,2007年辽宁省科技成果转化奖二等奖排名第二;

社会兼职:澳大利亚昆士兰大学和乌克兰国立冶金大学名誉教授。任IEC/TC27专家、IEC/TC27/MT28召集人、全国钢标委(SAC/TC183)委员、先后担任中国金属学会特殊钢分会理事、特种冶金学术委员会主任委员和中国铸造学会电渣冶金学术委员会副主任委员等学术职务。《International Journal of Minerals, Metallurgy and Materials》、《钢铁》、《钢铁研究学报》和《特殊钢》杂志编委。
